Japan’s native honeybee is called the Japanese honeybee (Apis cerana japonica).
It is a subspecies of the Asian honeybee (Apis cerana).
Recently, the “ importance of the native honeybee “has been recognized all over the world.
Japanese honeybees are sensitive to the environment and stimulants.
If they are not satisfied with their surroundings, they will flee.
Currently, the situation surrounding Japanese honeybees is severe,
but we, the members of The Japanese Native Honey Bee Association, are studying
how they can reside comfortably and happily among humans.
